Buzz can coach....
Yep, as long as you have the athletisism (which we do) defense is coaching, getting kids to buy in, and effort. Danny has failed at all three of those things.Players can have bad nights shooting the ball, but there is no excuse for having bad nights defensively. Defense requires effort, more than anything else....because it's not glamorous, like scoring on offense. Defense is grunt work....but that's what often wins games. And it can be taught, because D1 level players should have the physical abilities to play defense.
Meanwhile Mannning let multiple players that could have contributed significantly to this years team leave town and they are now excelling elsewhere.
If they hadn't left, we couldn't have signed our 3 freshmen. None of the guys who left was worth a crap at WFU.
Clawson is stubborn about his method but it has worked before. Manning doesn't have that legitimacy.
For what it's worth from the game: 18 turnovers, poor defense, poor free throw shooting, little or no emotion by the players and even worse, from DM. Prediction for next year: much the same if not worse with the proverbial young team. Maybe one ACC win and no away wins at other ACC schools...maybe next year I will stick to last years resolution not to buy season tickets.
Two more games (losses) and all the players from the Bzaster era will be gone.....
A decade will be wasted by the time we ever make any postseason tourney- but the frosh nucleus is encouraging.
Rondale the forgotten.

True.Judging by how they are doing now, I'm not sure that was all their fault.
Bzzdelik & Manning are two of the worst coaches in ACC history.
Didn't watch a second of this game, didn't actually know it was on, but, man, did not think at Thanksgiving we'd be going 2-16 in the ACC and losing home games to VT. What a shit season.
