Vivint Security System

Does anyone here have a Vivint Security System? It is installed in a house I am looking at and haven't ever heard of them. The on-line reviews are mixed.
 
They have come by our house to try and give us a "complimentary" system before. I think they are a west coast business trying to make some headway over here. The stuff looked pretty good, but we haven't signed up with them. Many of the features are pretty nice, though, like it being an all cellular system and being able to tie your thermostat to the alarm and work it all from your phone. We were quoted a monthly rate of around $60.
 
They also came by my house and tried to get us to do the complimentary system. I was a bit put off by how vague the guy was about a number of details.
