Ah, the ever optimistic "mixed-use development" sales pitch.

Something definitely needs to be there, though, and to my knowledge the mixed-use thing isn't already overdone in W-S like it is in a zillion other places. Maybe it would actually be one of the small percentage of mixed-use developments that deliver.

are they going to do it half-assedly again where they just slap a coat of paint on some dilapidated closed restaurants, and move some generic sure-to-fail businesses in there, because they need to raze that whole block and start over.
