Sorry for the shitty format here is the link

Color me flabbergasted. I would have never guessed that in a million years.

I guess it's the high ratio of fgs to TDs that has me thinking we were worse than that. We need more TDs and fewer fgs from here on out.

Much better link, thanks. Kind of a misleading statistic depending on how you define it. Still, credit to Lobo and the young men for taking care of the football in the RZ.

It helps to have a near automatic field goal kicker. Newman doesn't have Swank's leg, but he does a great job.

We're also last in red zone defense, giving up points 92% of the time (same link).

I'm all for giving credit, but just no. He does "ok". He has certainly improved, but were it not for him, we would already be bowl eligible.

He has one miss on the year...

If it weren't for nearly everybody on our team we would be bowl eligible. If it weren't for our asinine conservative play-calling we would have won, if it weren't for a BS holding penalty on the 53 yard Bailey TD run we would have won, if it weren't for Price getting injured we would have won, if it weren't for Newman missing his FG we would have won.

I mean he's 13-14 on the season and has had one XP blocked and missed another one. Yes it sucks he missed one that did that in a game that it ended up making a difference, but he's the best kicker in the ACC by percentage and 4th in the nation

Yeah, not a good stat. I suppose there might be some value in consistently putting points on the board, but you really should look at total points per attempt.

Code:
	Name G Attempts Points	P/A
1	Georgia Tech 8	35	198	5.66
2	North Carolina 8	28	153	5.46
3	Miami (FL) 7	23	120	5.22
4	NC State 7	24	125	5.21
5	Clemson 8	35	175	5.00
6	Florida State 7	29	143	4.93
7	Virginia 7	26	126	4.85
8	Wake Forest 7	32	151	4.72
9	Boston College 7	16	75	4.69
10	Duke 7	28	130	4.64
11	Virginia Tech 8	42	191	4.55
12	Maryland 7	29	129	4.45

Seriously, dude has made 25 of his last 26 attempts, which is unheard of in college.

Lol what a joke of a post, the kid is as solid as a FG kicker gets in college. He has like 1 miss in his last 25 kicks. Get outta here with that.

check out "passes defended." noel is such a stud. also, UNC has made a whopping three field goals this season (of four).

David Amerson of NC State has 8 ints already this season. That's pretty amazing.
