We don't deserve anything more than the NIT, not consistent enough. Shame too, Collins is a heck of a player and we're not going to have Carl to show for it.
 
remember, though, according to rj, this game was a much, much, MUCH more likely W than home at L'Ville

Total BS, they are 10-15 from 2. Yeah they shot 50% from 3 you can't let a team shoot 67% from 2.
 
10 turnovers? No energy on defense. Take Collins away and wake is shooting 8-for-26. Wake is laying steaming piles on both ends of the floor.
 
It's shit, but the game is not over. Let's see what we're made of in the 2nd half.
 
We've had some poor halves this year but, Jeebus, that was awful. No intensity, nothing. Disappointing to see them that flat in such a huge game.
 
It might not be the most logical approach, but deep down, we all know Wake and teams like Wake can blow 14 point haltime leads. Clemson has blown games almost as badly as we have, so maybe they can hand us one for what they did to us at home....yup. That's where Im at. :beer:
 
I mean ND is down 10 to BC and gave up 49 in the first half. These things happen. Just terrible timing.

However, Manning's substitution patterns are terrible this game. What happened to the short bench that has been working so well? We really don't trust JC to not foul their freshman 3rd string Center? Woods hits his first 3 and then rides the pine for several minutes?

We are being out scored by 12 from 3 against a bad 3 pt shooting team. We got called for a handful of questionable walks, and they shot out of their mind. I do not see where we were outcoached. We are a bad defensive team partly because we have minimal athleticism outside of Collins and Crawford.
