yes but also different to lose it vs other girl winning it. She had it for the taking with a 2 putt on earlier hole and just choked and then into the water to not even have a chance. Has to hurt a lot more knowing you should have won.
 
Poor pepperdine girl did what I would do in a horribly lie on dirt with big roots around and took full swing hitting dirt behind the ball and following through but ball only moved an inch? Rebounded with an amazing driver to put near hole to give herself a chance at par and at least put a little pressure on Stanford girl.
 
How do making the pairings work? Do opposing coaches have the opportunity to just sacrifice their #5 player to lose to Rose Zhang?

Looks like what Pepperdine did. Was crazy to see the vast differential in rankings of the Stanford girls vs. Pepperdines, but yet it came down to the last 2 holes. Let's get past A&M and have a chance for a natty.
 
might be good to update the thread title (i actually think new / shorter threads are the better poster experience but that’s a tougher battle). #badfan but i had no idea we were playing such important matches today
 
Need Emilia to find some game this afternoon. For those that feel sorry for the FSU girl remember when we had a kick to beat Stanford in the national championship soccer game and missed and Bags snap hooking a 3 wood from the fairway on 18 in the title match v Duke. There is a thing as Deacon Blues and hopefully we get even this year.

Hopefully being picked up by her teammates and knowing she has a clean sheet will propel her to some much better golf.
