Wake Forest defeated Boston College, which defeated Clemson, which defeated Iowa, which defeated Indiana, which defeated Kentucky.

Does this example actually demonstrate the transitive property?
 
In a year or two, I'm sure the NCAA record book will show Wake as having had 13 more wins than Kentucky did for the 2011-2012 season.
