Wake is a top 50 football school in one of the top 4 football conferences. Years ago we were LOWF; however the landscape of college football has changed. The players are smarter and the money is huge. We have very good facilities. Wake is lucky to be positioned where we are. Top 25 academic school, tons of money, winning record equals bowl game. Also, Duke, Stanford, Vandy, Baylor are winning. No excuses. Soft seventeen is gone. We need a kick ass coach with energy!

Grobe seemed to question our commitment to facilities. At least that's what I heard in the presser.

Can someone explain why Baylor keeps getting inserted into the conversation with Wake, Vandy and Duke?

Not sure what's next on the upgrades to the stadium but isn't one of the more pressing needs for the stadium the locker room?

Yeah, I have not understood that.

Duke, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Northwestern, Baylor--one is not like the other.

Will Jim Grobe make it easier or more difficult to make a quality hire?

Historical loser, historical religious affiliation, historical loser, private, and historical loser.

I throw Northwestern in there too.

This program should be built up to the point where a year without a bowl is a failure, rather than a year with a bowl being a huge success. 6-7 isn't a success

But much larger student base and more/better HS football players in Texas to recruit (even w/Longhorn and Aggie "leftovers").

Sorry not a valid comparison anymore, if it ever was.

It was once a valid comparison, not any longer.

Wasn't commenting on validity, just giving reasons why the comparisons are made.
