Apropos of nothing, the only good thing about college football season coming to a close will (hopefully) be the end of the Larry the Dr. Pepper drink guy commercials.

NFL can't play on Friday nights due to antitrust restrictions.

Nobody suggested the nfl should play on Friday nights.

I hate that they play the title game at 8:30 on a Monday night. I know the NFL playoffs are going on Saturday night, but why not Friday night? How great a 3 days of watching football would that be, Natty title game Friday night (when a lot of people don't have to get up and go to work the next morning) and NFL divisional round Saturday and Sunday.

College basketball championship is always on a Monday too. And you can't go at 7 because of west coasters

I know this ship sailed long ago, but how about 7pm so kids can watch? I'm lucky I grew up in an era that lots of great games were on before I had to go to bed.
