There wasn’t a team. That was my freshman year and I can guarantee I didn’t see anything I could call basketball.

Unfortunately wake basketball does not have time to allow the market to correct itself. Other schools can do that … like NC State - since they just went on a run I have been dreaming about for Wake since the 1984 win over DePaul. Not suggesting we break the bank but time is of the essence if we ever want to be relevant again and over paying right now will yield dividends in the future. This feels like the Alamo for wake basketball.

May feel like remembering the Alamo for our basketball coach. Certainly got us over the hump to exciting & winning. Getting over the NCAA hump is proving very hard with our lack of defensive prowess and ability to play two complete halves.

It’s wild to look back and remember just how awful they were. And they had 6 top 100 guys plus Gary Clark and CJ Harris. Should have been better than 1-15!

WF could have a huge marketing opportunity with 'The Deacon' scotch. Has a really unique copper looking bottle, would be cooler in gold. Just need to redesign the logo to be more Deacon-like and less steampunk plague doctor
