Oversimplifying but:

SEC has won last 7 Nat'l Titles --> SEC has the best talent in football --> speed is a valuable talent in football

Not a stretch to think they have on aggregate, faster players at speed positions. Is their speed overhyped/overstated? Probably. But a hoax? That's a big stretch.
 
I can't believe k's bad back in 94 hasnt been mentioned yet. Pete Gaudet still has tire marks on his back from the bus he was thrown under.

At least the selection of his successor would suggest that it fits the definition of hoax.
 
Sid Finch was an awesome story. We all fell hook line in sinker. Think he threw that fastball while wearing work boots too. Skydog's Jewish Jordan response was great too.
