When to visit?

Wife and newborn and I are going to visit Wake for the first time. When is the best time to come? Homecoming? Maybe Oct 24th weekend for NC State? Want the best gameday experience for them but also want nice weather and to show off the campus. Any rec's on hotels?

Maybe when the kid's about 4 and you don't have to break up your day to take your wife and kid back to the hotel room for a titty snack and a nap.
