The Deacs won the FIU Sun & Fun Classic Sunday afternoon by beating FIU with the help of Chelsea Douglas' school record 48 points. Douglas hit a record 9 three pointers in the game.

Dearica Hamby had 24 points and 12 rebounds in the game and 47 points and 30 rebounds in the past two games.

Hamby and Douglas lead the ACC in scoring.

Hamby is also fourth in rebounding and second in steals in the ACC.

We are down this year, but with the level of recruiting that Hoover has in the pipeline, I am hopeful that we might finally break our NCAAT drought in the next few eyars.
 
How many years has it been since we've been in the tourney? Did I read correctly that we have like the 15th ranked class coming in?
 
I think 88 is correct. 1 or 2 NIT's under Peterson is all the team has done.
