Anyone else been watching? US women have some generational talent superstars. Sydney dominated the field and obliterated her 400m hurdles record. The men swept 100m and 200m with 6 different guys. Crazy. 400m sweep not out of the question either. US definitely back on top in sprints.

I saw that Sydney McLaughlin’s 400 hurdle record would have placed her 7th in the Olympics in the 400 *flat*, that’s ridiculous.

other than the comical continuation of our goofs in the men's 4X100, a very successful Worlds for the men and women.

Syd ran a cool 47.9 split to bring home the gold in the women's 4X400. that is the second-fastest 400 relay split (behind one by Allyson Felix) since the 80's. Whenever Syd decides to focus on the flat 400, the WR is going down.
