Yes, you are frickin' old, geezer...

I have every single one of those songs on my Ipod.

Although Don't Worry be happy gets skipped a lot.

To put it into perspective, these songs to today's kids are like songs from the late 50's were to me when I started getting into music. Ouch.

It hurts more when you realize kids born in 1992 can legally drink.

Interesting that a majority of those songs are frat party anthems.

Welcome to the club! :)

It really hit home a few years ago when I was flipping through the channels during halftime of a game and came across a concert on PBS. Broadway superstar Patti Lupone was ending her show with "a classic song".

I wanted to hear what she thought was a classic. Then she slugged me with a 2x4 between my eyes. She sang "Time After Time".

I used to share a girl with the bass player of The Hooters. We all went to the same clubs before they were famous.

"I Left My Heart in SF". "As Time Goes By", etc. are classics. It killed me to think a song written by a buddy's bar band could be a "classic".

Welcome to old age boys and girls.
