#YesAll Women

hard to say. Jizzing on the face can be seen, ans is generally categorized, as an objectifying act. You say she asked for it and you were in a relationship. The jizz in her face did not provide direct tactile sexual stimulation to her sexual organs, so we have to assume she derived pleasure out of the act itself. Face jizzing, I think, is generally accepted as a highly kinky act that most women find unpleasant and disgusting, so this is where she most likely derived pleasure - out of being objectified. And hey, that's cool if that is her thing, Im just saying.

It is an interesting hashtag and discussion point to follow in the lens of Maya Angelou's writing, especially when you take more of a reading about gender/sexuality than about race. Or even making it more abstract, turning it into a focus on power.

I was talking to a colleague yesterday who was talking about how massive Angelou was to her as a freshmen girl at Hampton, how moving in, the freshmen girl dorm is just a row of men from the Navy yard and upperclassmen standing there yelling at you, catcalling, rating you, etc. And that in light of reading Angelou about being a woman she was able to find strength.

I'm not busting your balls about busting your nut, Townie.

Just sayin as an old fart that I can't square talking about that shit in mixed company with empowering women or their progression. It seems like they don't like it and find it offensive, but again maybe Im just an old fart.

And once again I don't see what age has to do with it, I think it's just a difference of opinion because I can easily separate the two. Women aren't delicate flowers, and I can talk about stuff on the internet in "mixed company" and empower women in real life with my actions at the same time.

i think it matters greatly how you're talking about it. a bunch of dudes in an office bragging loudly in a cubicle about facializing a weekend conquest is a little different than townie and his hipster coterie waxing philosophic about it over wine and cheese

lol @ the chat thread as a hipster coterie

So its an internet/real life thing, not an age thing?

Would you stand around at a social gathering of Wake alumni and relate the story of jizzing on your girlfriends face if there were women there?

nah i probably wouldn't, esp if it were people i mostly didn't know, but i'm much more shy in real life than on here

You realize that there's a pregnant woman on the chat thread that brags about how much she likes dick pics and tells people that they should send them to her and another who is constantly posting pictures of her bountiful bosoms, right.

It's not like a little amateur eye-dotting is completely out of bounds there.

yea i think it's more offensive to suggest that sexual subjects are taboo around women than the way i was talking about it, which wasn't bragging if you go back and look at the context

Now if Townie were to go home and place his unwilling girlfriend's head in a vice and videotape himself cumming all over her face and then posted the video on the chat thread the next morning and bragged about it, that would be a bit gauche.

There's this confluence of oversexualization in the media and Victorian principles towards sex and women in politics and culture that leads to our hangups with women and sexuality in America.

The repressed sexual ethos that teaches kids that sex is bad, combined with the sex sells advertising and movies and television, as well as the internet boom of porn, leads to this place in our history where women dress a certain way to be fashionable and men think it's ok to leer, or commit unwanted sexual acts.

The #freethenipple hash tag is a far more interesting one of study to me than #yesallwomen

It's less about victimhood and exploitation and more about equality and our culture's sexuality. Both are nice social trends though.

I cannot separate this hashtag from the thought of your nipples.

yeah, definitely don't do that

I'd like to go on record and say I have felt FAR more objectified by older men than men my own age (or a few years younger).
Older guys might be less crude, or something, but there's an inherent look in their eyes that clearly shows they still see you as some "pretty young thing" ... as opposed to younger guys who will say or do exactly what they think, but are far more open to your opinion in the matter.

ETA: I don't think this came out well, but I do want to be clear that I don't think it's an age thing, or if it is that WakenBake is on the wrong side of it.

I'm not really sure what the #YesAllWomen movement really is but I've been out of touch the last few weeks on vacation with limited internet access.
