I think this is the best album of the 1990s, and it's not even close!!

Anyone with a working knowledge of music history can clearly see how Jimmy anticipated the grunge sound a year before Nirvana released Nevermind.

It doesn't get any better than this.

I've never understood why "Catalogue of Generous Men" was never more popular. The Skirts are still doing well touring college towns, but I thought they would have achieved national attention for their catchy tunes.



Also, this is going back a few years but "Blister Soul" was supposed to be Vigilantes' breakthrough album, but the fans just never caught on.

Not when it came out, but it is now, compared to other work of the era. You hear a lot of the same old crap, even from deep track stations, while some of the best work gets ignored.
