Totally Unofficial 2015/16 Premier League Thread (NWT)

Another red not given. Cisse throws a nasty elbow not seen and the next possession scores. Fuck football.

Alexis is class. Ox is good. The rest of arsenal are fucking divers and pussies.

Great 2nd half...good football all around today for 2 days rest.

What a depressing half of football. Everton got off to a perfect start, scoring in the first ten minutes on a brilliant ball from Coleman. Then they played 30 minutes of the worst defensive footy I've ever seen. No ball pressure. No shape. Alcaraz and Barry continually running into each other. Barry getting owned by Cisse. Only true bright spots were the new men Garbutt and Kone. The spine of the team is awful. The CBs and Barry played abysmal football.

The goal scorer should not have been on the pitch.

Scz and Adrian were both respective MOMs. Both did their jobs perfectly. Carroll hardly saw the end of a single cross, and Adrian's right foot had more saves than some keepers have had all season. Had to laugh at Big Andy outsprinting Sanchez and Adrian downfield at the end.

Debuchy and Monreal are awful and together spent about ten minutes of the game writhing in pain on the floor. Cazorla went down easily like six times and always threw his hands in the air. We really, really missed Jenkinson -- not sure we had a single good cross from the right. Should have played Sakho and Valencia together, because Carroll wasn't getting shit.

Cazorla bossed you guys today. I am sure he understood quite well that he was going to get calls against all of WH's 8' tall players - and he did.

Flamini was invisible out there and Debuchy and Monreal do suck.

We really need a CDM and a couple more defenders at AFC

We had by far the better (and greater) of possession. I don't think that you can say any of your midfielders "bossed" us today.

Except Sanchez. He sort of did.

Also, that disallowed goal was such unbelievable horseshit. Ridiculous call.

Arsenal had far more possession in the second than they did in the first half, and Cazorla gave your guys fits.

It was an interesting game, very happy to sneak away with a win. I was fully prepped for a loss or tie today.

How many points does winning possession get you? As an Arsenal fan, I know all too well it doesn't.

Come on 09, Corzola dominated you all today.

Chelsea and City dropping points make United not scoring in the first half today even tougher of a pill to swallow. I didn't see the 2nd half, so I don't know if we bossed that one as well or not.

Sloppy, lazy passing. Tough to blame Barkley but the winner was his fault. Martinez can't figure out how to use his men. Barry can't play DM anymore. He's slow and can't close down space. He would make a decent CB. Distin needs to be permanently dropped. He was at fault for the first two goals. Alcaraz was OK but is a rotation/depth player. Jags and Stones are an outstanding CB pair and no other one works. Coleman and Baines played decently on the wings today. Garbutt was a good cover at fullback too. McGeady and Eto'o were terrible. They gave away possession far too much. Lukaku literally didn't touch the ball when he came on. Kone has absolutely earned the right to start over him at this point, embarrassing as that is to say. But since top 6 is all but gone from possibility, the rest of the season should be spent giving youth players their shot and figuring out how to use the men we have properly. Roberto doesn't have the men playing hard now at all. Moyes, for all his glaring faults, always had his men drilled and playing hard.

This is just hopeless stuff. I doubt the purse will open in January. Maybe loans. I'm so frustrated with the team right now. Roberto has no answers.
