Presumably OFFICAL 2015/16 Premier League - Leicester CHAMPS. Best Sports Story Ever

Why would anyone want to manage an overpaid squad that's second best in a backwater industrial city in a rainy country with angry fans and no recent success?

Where is the liverpool optimism level now? They should be heading towards rock bottom, but will firing Rodgers give them a boost?

On a more serious note, I'm sad that liverpool may return to being somewhat competetive and that I can't follow this guy on twitter.

Is pool for real getting Klopp?? Rodgers isn't the only problem there, the spending is just all over the place with no apparent plan, but that'd be a HUGE upgrade

Nah, they'll throw his name around and then Ancelotti, but end up luring Jurgen to Merseyside

Thanks, I needed a laugh to take my mind off the misery of this Bills game that I drove hours to see in person.

LvG did.

Oh you meant Pool.

Rodgers has been sacked.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Today just got even worse! This is horrible!

I have to say it was a good day. Now please FSG don't fuck this up. Looks like LVG is married to Rooney just like Rodgers was to Lovren. Hope this is the last we see of Lovren at CB too.

What does an Everton fan know about recent success?

Sounds like the Bills, except they're the only game in town.

Since joining Spurs and the EPL in 2013, Christian Eriksen has scored more direct free-kicks than anyone else in the league.

So ... anyone think that Arsenal might sneakily win the league this year? Been the best team since the New Year, Alexis is a beast and I'm not terribly convinced by any of the other "top" teams (Chelsea is going to have a dogfight just to make it into the CL spots for example).

LOL. Respect the pessimism, but c'mon man

EGO. I would hope most coaches feel that they can do a better job than Rogers. Adverse to challenge type of coaches usually don't make it to the top tier. Those that feel they are above and beyond better than everyone else will not shy away from difficult jobs. Plus there is the allure of bringing back a former world giant to glory. Something few clubs can offer.

Whether or not Ownership changes it's policies and the transfer committee will ultimately determine if whomever is hired is successful.
