2015 Football Coaching Carousel: Southern Miss HC to Tampa Bay

Pending sanctions and another player arrested in the wee hours of the morning for assault?

IMO, the looming sanctions would be a big-time incentive for Fedora's agent to put his name out there. Fedora's stock is never going to be higher, and while it may not be as severe as it should be, UNC football is going to take a hit from the NCAA. Could be a long while before Fedora has that program in the same spot again. Plus Fedora is not implicated in any of the violations under review.

Unfortunately a lot of programs could care less about that. I mean could be that he won't get any looks, but I'd be surprised of he didn't.

Clawson's successor at Bowling Green, Dino Babers, just got the UCF job.

Richt at Miami would be hilarious. His Georgia teams wouldn't have even won the ACC most years due to one factor or another. How's he going to win at Miami with less talent ?

Just a head's up, Richt isn't going to get Todd Gurley, Keith Marshall, Nick Chubb, and Sony Michel on the same fucking team at Miami. But he might get another chance to be the Belk Bowl champion.

As an FYI, only LSU (40) has more current NFL players than Miami (37 -- Bama is third with 34), even though Miami has achieved nothing of note in more than 10 years. The Canes still have a ton of talent, and South Florida will continue to produce studs for that program. Miami's issue has never been lack of talent. Just a series of dreadful coaches.

Sounds like Richt is going to move into an administrative role with the program although I did hear this morning that UVA would like to talk with him.

Miami's best representatives are aging out of the NFL and Florida's best players are going elsewhere. The best players from the U right now are tight ends. Either way, Richt would be a fool to go there. Georgia's actually making room for him in the AD's office if he wants to stay, which I think is a bad move on everyone's part.

Richt said at his presser that he is willing to talk with anyone about coaching again. Area doesn't matter.

In 2014, Miami had more NFL draft picks (7) than wins (6).
