Wow. Would've loved to see Monmouth & Valpo. Pretty bad showing this year, committee.
 
How does Kentucky beat A&M in the conference tournament final and UK end up a 4 and A&M a 3? So many head-scratchers.
 
So, basically - low and mid-majors without celebrity coaches who don't win their conference tournaments just have no shot at an at-large bid. Got it.
 
ANY team that plays TWENTY THREE games away from their home building is going to take on some bad losses, even the creme de la creme. Monmouth gets punished for playing that many games away from home?? The lesson to them is to schedule more games at home? Messed up

Only because it's true every year. The NCAA Tournament is a total joke - basically WWE. How does UVA end up in the same bracket with Mich St for the 3rd year in a row, how? So screwed. While Duke gets freaking Oregon as the #1 seed in their bracket. There is just no way Duke was going to get Carolina (obviously), Kansas or Michigan St in their bracket. Just wasn't going to happen. It's so obvious. I'm sure it's CBS related. Duke draws viewers and it hurts CBS for them to go out.

The 8-9 matchups are really well done. #1 seeds are going to see some tough second round matchups.

I agree with you except that I don't think it's TV related, I think the NCAA trots out Duke as their lord and savior and will give them the easiest path every year. They just like them and don't question K or his program ever as someone said one here earlier today.

Flip side as long as Cal is at Kentucky they are going to get a difficult draw.

Basically the committee is very predictable in their bias.
 
 
Johnny Jones should be fired for being a turrible coach and ncaa is laughingstock for letting Cuse, Michigan, and Tulsa in. Not sure they could have done worse than when Ronnie was in charge, but they did.
 
Y'all know that means Syracuse or Michigan is gonna make a run because that's how it always happens.
 
How apathetic has Wake basketball made me? Only just a moment ago did a realize it was selection Sunday.
