The ACC 2016-17

Also, looking at that is depressing from a WFU perspective. Tough to see how we break into the top 10 of the ACC next year.

We won't. I agree, it is completely depressing. We are so far behind the rest of the league it's ridiculous. And responsibility for it falls squarely on the people being paid fortunes to keep us competitive.

At best we finish 12th next year...year 7 of no postseason

Kory Holden who is the #1 ranked immediately eligible transfer has a final 5 of Kansas, Baylor, VT, South Carolina and Seton Hall. If he picks VT, look out. VT finished the year winning 6 straight ACC games before losing a tight one to Miami in the ACC tourney. BTW, Holden is a MD native, but he dropped them from his list. VT will be a legit top 6 ACC team next year.

I'm not sold that Duke will be filthy good next year. If Giles and Tatum are like Wall/Cousins or Okafor/Winslow, then they've got a shot to be really good. But beyond that, they'll have 1 player who's been a significant contributor at the college level (Allen), 2 upperclassmen who've been career role players (Jones, Jefferson), and 3 sophomores who didn't do a whole lot as freshmen (Thornton, Kennard, Jeter).

1
Thornton (So)
Jackson (Fr)
2
Allen (Jr)
Kennard (So)
3
Tatum (Fr)
Jones (Sr)
4
Giles (Fr)
DeLaurier (Fr)
5
Jefferson (Sr)
Jeter (So)

Don't talk yourself into that, they're going to be scary if Allen stays.

Solid chance that Satan Giles and Tatum are both top 5 picks.

A healthy Giles could be the best player the ACC has seen in awhile.

Yeah, they're gonna be ridiculous. I'm hoping Allen goes pro and Giles fails to qualify, then goes straight to the NBA next year. Then they'll just be good. (I can dream, right?)

I respect your opinion and wholeheartedly disagree with it. As much as I hate K, he'll figure out how to play w/ that group of studs. Lack of experience isn't a problem when you have (by far) the best roster of talent in the ACC.

It's the exact same recipe that got them the 2015 title with Okafor-Giles, Winslow-Taytum, and Tyus Jones-Frank Jackson. They're all basically as well or better regarded.

4 of their 5 double digit scorers from last year are coming back if Allen stays.

I'm guessing Malachi Richardson goes pro too after his strong tourney performance

I really really hope that Richardson stays one more year, I think his inconsistency will hurt him in the draft and he has the possibility of a monster year next year with Cooney and G graduating.

Also Syracuse will have DaJuan Coleman returning and 7'2" Providence transfer Paschal Chukwu.
