WASHINGTON — The F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, on Tuesday said the F.B.I. is recommending no charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of a personal email server while secretary of state.

Mr. Comey said “no reasonable prosecutor” would bring a case against Mrs. Clinton for her handling of classified information on her private server. But he said Mrs. Clinton and her staff were “extremely careless” in their use of email.

The F.B.I.’s recommendation to the Justice Department will have an enormous impact on the presidential election.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said on Friday that she would accept whatever recommendation she received from the F.B.I.

Which frankly is a HUGE issue. The leader of the free world needs to fucking understand technology at least at some basic level. The fact that someone who wants to be president of the United States handles e-mails like a 70 year old grandmother is a fucking problem.
 
Saw this coming a mile away. No way was the Obama Admin going to allow him to be out on the road(beginning today) stumping for Hillary with her being under investigation.

I think it's pretty mixed result. Although not a ton of new information the first 10 minutes of that press conference made HRC and team look really careless. I'm sure Trump will try to use it as such. It is good to get the no charges check box cleared before the convention though.

Sorry let me clarify...

The Republican Director of the FBI, who was the Deputy Attorney General under W., and served as the interim AG in 2004, is in on clearing Clinton and sweeping things under the rug?

This is more akin to the Devils Club drumming up an investigation on the Rams Club over nothing but political gain, then having one of their top officers admit as much before getting demoted, then having the whole thing amount to nothing.
