Totally Unofficial Soccer Transfer Thread (NWT)

You mean in a midfield of 3? This to me is the one area of the team where I'm kind of lost as to what Klopp is thinking. He likes Can but I don't know here he comes out on Henderson and he clearly doesn't rate Allen or Lucas very highly. Is Grujic ready to play? Is this where Wijnaldum will play?

Can would be the ball winner
Wijnaldum to the Kagawa role
????? as the maestro

!!!!controversial opinion alert!!!!

Paul Pogba is good. Very good. He's not even remotely close to €120m good. That is an absolutely insane amount of money.

Man wish I was his agent! :) Not a bad deal for him either.

Juventus would get 120m Euros, but it was leaked today a clause between Juventus and Pogba says that 20% of the selling fee would go to Pogba. Plus 25million Euros that is the personal commission for agent Mino Raiola, because if you are an agent you want that personal commission.

I keep getting Pogba and Zardes confused. Must be combination of the insane wiggly soccer moves and the hair. Mainly the hair.

About the same % of revenue as Rio was. That turned out to be a fine investment, wouldn't you say?

Also, what part of that €120m is SAF paying back to United for fucking that whole situation up in the first place?

SAF made two terrible mistakes in his career.

Jaap Stam to Lazio and Paul Pogba to Juventus.

I'm not sure that's controversial. There are better CMs

@DaveOCKOP
James Pearce and Paul Joyce confirming that Stoke have agreed a fee for Joe Allen. A sad day for Liverpool Football Club.

Farewell, sweet prince.

It is enticing, thinking of Pogba and Mourinho together.

But not that fit the "homegrown" tag.

And his potential is out of this world.

So sign some shitty English CM to ride the bench and spend the other 110 euros to buy 2/3 world class starters. I mean it doesn't matter, United have the money, but it's a crazy valuation .

he's club grown as well

something that counts in CL squad registration

and Higauin is being priced at 80 million! You can't buy 3 international stars for 120 million anymore.

After his performance at the Euros only getting 13.5 for Allen is a little disappointing. Hell, if Skrtel can command 6.5/7....

You can't buy 3 international stars for 120 million anymore.

Bayern bough Douglas Costa, Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman for a combined total of €98m just last summer. I'd take that collection of players over Pogba +nobody -€22m every single day.

What you mean is "rich English clubs who have to make a statement signing every summer to keep fan revenue coming in" can't buy 3 stars for €120m anymore.

Costa and Coman were nowhere close to being international stars last summer when they were bought though, which is what dv7's point was.

Ukraine star, give you Vidal, backup

They invested in not fully proven youth. Not established stars. I won't argue with you that United should do the same, but there is more than enough money to do both and Pogba has all the qualities to dominate the Premiership. You'd kill for him at Spurs, regardless of the price.
