2016 Panthers Thread: MOVING ON

So while at the time I agreed (and still probably do agree) with the way Luke's injury was handled, if the guy had cleared the protocol I guess the purpose is just to hold him out solely because the games didn't matter anymore? Or is there an increased risk of getting another concussion in the immediate time period after experiencing one - meaning he was more likely to get another concussion during the last three games this season than he will be come next season? I say that because if that was the case, why not sit basically all the key players for the last few games of the season once we were eliminated? Cam had a concussion early in the season, we were eliminated from the playoffs, so by the same logic it seems like he shouldn't have been out there either for the last two/three games.

I would have definitely sat Cam after we were no longer in playoff contention. Unsure why we didn't, other than not wanting to piss off the fans.
 
I feel like the Chargers should wanna make a splashy pick like Fournette to try to drum up some excitement.
 
No sense in getting a RB if we can't get an O-Line. Then we would just watch 2 talented backfield players waste away prime years.
 
The Chargers do make dumb, irrational decisions like playing in a MLS stadium for two years so maybe there's hope
 
2017 Panthers Draft Thread

If there isn't an elite OT, DE, or S at that spot, I would be fine trading out of the 1st for a 2018 1st, a 2nd, and a 5th or something like that. We should be able to get a good RB in the 3rd.

LA donks ain't gonna care about a LB or OT or something. They just wanna see QB, RB, WR.
 
There is a lot of evidence that fans, LA or not, really only want a winning team. There is no chance SD drafts Fournette.
 
Where are the QBs slotted to go so far?

I no longer pay for Insider so I don't get ANY of the "decent" articles on ESPN....including draft coverage.
 
I haven't guessed our first round pick in 3 consecutive drafts. Has anyone here guessed any of them? I don't think I've even read a single publication that got any of the 3 right.

I know a lot of people guessed a WR in 2014, but I think most mocks had KB as a high 2nd. Actually most mocks had Shaq and Butler as high 2nd rounders as well.
