Online Virtual Coach Simulation

Took a little bit closer look at my team this afternoon, it's potentially even more of a mess than I thought. +37/-14 overall, which could be worse, though we're +10/-3 in int which I basically ignored in the old version. +2/-4 in shooting means we're almost certainly going to be terrible and we're really going to struggle on the glass as well - we have 4 players over 6'6 who are a total of -3 rebounding and one of the F reb is a guaranteed NA. Meanwhile, our 4 players 6'3 and under are +4 reb. The silver lining is that our FR are clearly our best class with a potential stud in 6'1 Ikaika Chaicon (GGGFGE); hopefully he can lock down one of the guard spots for 4 years.

Basically the same story here in Flagstaff. My only elite height, a 6'10 freshman, is a "Poor" rebounder. And I graduate what I feel my best option at C is. Hope I can cobble something together quick!

I think the game in general is anti-height. Kmoney must have a thing against anyone above 6'6. Even in beta it was near impossible to replace height. I graduate 2 of my 4 guys over 6'6 this season... :(

Agreed, San Antonio is really going to struggle to rebound this season. We are short and we only have two guys 6'8 or taller, and one of them are none rebounding. As a team we are only +1 in rebounding. Gonna need to do some soul searching to find the right position for some of these guys. I think I can pull something together by season end.

So is everyone in? Slots are filling pretty quickly. So make sure you get in if you want in. :)

Didn't even think to look at stats haha. I picked up a 77-70 win with senior SG Diego Waites pouring in 28 points on 12-19 shooting. He's going to be my entire team this year so we will go as he does. Got out-rebounded 31-43 so that's going to continue to be an issue with us going forward. Hoping recruiting goes REALLY well.

San Antonio Horror - 67
Sacramento Suburban Stars-58

The coaching nerves settled down as the Horror were able to control the ball and take down a team that we probably should not have beat. Player of the Game was SR Andrew Cannon who had 26pts, 7rbs and 7blk in the win. Our SO SG/SFs were able to chip in around 10pts each as well. The more impressive part is only 4 tos in the first time these guys had played together, but I made sure their socks were right and gig-line perfect. It showed!

As expected we got handled on the boards and it is something that i need to remedy. The Horror will need to spend some time perusing the recruiting areas to find some help in the post. It is the largest need on the team and with the number of active teams in this league it will be difficult. Need to win some of those continuously elusive ties in recruiting. We have already lined up Conference 24/San Antonio's Spencer Carver for an official visit and with E+ local and we are the home town team, i am optimistic.

if there are no more questions...thank you.

Lancaster Jarrett McClains 83
Amarillo Nightmare 66

Player of the game Raymond Bailey couldn't overcome the superior Jarrett McClains team. Overall the team played well, shooting 40%. The biggest difference was allowing Lancaster 53% shooting. Lack of height and defensive skills will hurt this team for the rest of the season.

Pulled off a surprising win, 78-72 over College Station in our first exhibition. I guess the win itself isn't that surprising but how we did it certainly was: even on the boards (though it seems like height and rebounding are at such a premium we may not be as far behind there as I first thought) and my +2/-2 sht lineup shot 57% from the floor and 18/20 from the line despite all being left at 5/5. Outside of some turnover issues at pg, where we don't really have any other options, everything went pretty smoothly. Hopefully, we can carry that forward when the games start counting, but I have to imagine the shooting performance was a total fluke.

4 Way Deacs look like they will have trouble defending, ball handling, shooting free throws, and shooting in general. Besides that, we are great. Picked up a win, somehow, after starting 1-7 from the stripe - got into the bonus in the second half after about 5 minutes and the team hit 12 of 14 freebies down the stretch. Not much other good, our starting bigs can rebound - and I dont have any backup guards, so my bSG is 6'8, bSF is 6'10, bPF is 6'9 - but don't let that fool you, they are a combined +0 in rebounding and +0 in handling.

My bC is my favorite player ever, super Cincy guy at FPFENF - he's a freshman, so have him for 4 years - hes dumb, can't defend, but he can grab those boards.

Walked over an interim coached team, 70-49. No stand-outs for Durham, high scorers had 11 and 10 points. Only one other cpu team on my schedule, so should be harder from here out. Starters are ok, bench is thin. Like everybody else, will need to recruit bigs.

Hi all, played this game before I had any Wake ties (and thus before I visited this message board).

Back in as St. Martinville in C9.

Wichita Kin About Willis - 54
San Antonio Horror - 62

Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit, we have some coaching going on in San Antonio. We were lead by our SO wings as our go-to SR was held almost useless and got four fouls in 23 minutes. Without his impact on the game I would not have thought we could win any game, but it appears that Wichita is not that great a team. Oh well, I will take the victory and will make some more tweaks to my lineup to get ready for the regular season. I don't think we would have much chance against good teams...but we will see.

I forgot to purchase credits. Does anybody have a spreadsheet I can use? If anybody has several spreadsheets, I can rerun the formula.

I just saw my recruiting rankings, I am going to struggle this year. A lot.

This makes me feel a lot better about my team lol. :)

Albany Fleetwings 90
Amarillo Nightmare 72

We 'improved' our defense only allowing 46% shooting from the field and held our own shooting 43% from the field but fouls and turnovers killed us. I don't get the turnovers with my starting lineup +6 hands and the bench +5. It's the one thing we're supposed to be good at. I'm guessing Int plays a role in this as we're terrible there. +2 and -2 respectively.

I'll be happy to sniff .500 with this roster. Going to be a long slow process.

Erie Iuhoosiers 60
St. Martinville Spoonbills 53

Yuck. Not going to win many games when our should-be stud senior SG (+7/-0) goes 3-18. This team doesn't look at all like the type of team I usually recruit, so I have a lot of tinkering to do. Unfortunately, any winning the next few seasons has to be done now based on these recruiting rankings:

Fr 163 127
So 220 210
Jr 35 58
Se 20 32
