If UNC sues the NCAA, the NCAA should put them on immediate probation for all sports for as long as the suit goes saying they are protecting themselves. UNC doesn't have a constitutional right to be a part of the NCAA.

Or they could just kick them out entirely. They have no right to be in the NCAA. The NCAA should then tell the ACC that only conferences with 100% NCAA participation are eligible for NCAA championships and to share in NCAA funds.

Neither the NCAA nor the ACC needs UNC. After a year or two, both will be making tons of money with UNC. However, UNC does need the NCAA and ACC.

Once the hearing is complete, then their will be review of all the record and eventual issuance of some kind of verdict. Which will then probably be appealed...

The NCAA is still trying to decide how to word the apology for the officiating for the 2016 NCAA championship game.
 
Saw where the NC State Mascot got in trouble for making fun of UNC academics
 
Just get ready for disappointment. I have said all along that nothing significant is going to happen to UNC. Still think that is the case
 
I can take the disappointment if it comes. It will be the beginning of the end for the NCAA if they are not able to land a blow on UNC when the violations are so egregious.
 
Sadly I don't think anybody will care. UNC won't be punished. Universities will essentially make their own rules.

You guys aren't following the story. Greg Sankey has taken the case over. UNC is going to get hammered. The real question is who will win the lawsuit. There is absolutely no doubt that the SEC NCAA has decided to punish UNC, and changed the charges a third time to conform to the punishment they seek.

I can't wait to see those involved at UNC testify under oath. Particularly Roy.

You will be disappointed. His players migrated away from those classes. Plenty of bad things to say about UNC's AFAM department, but Roy will have no problem demonstrating that he steered his players elsewhere (all of which happened before any investigative steps).
