What's the over/under on mentions this week that Mark Lineburg, Wake's special teams coordinator, is a first cousin of VT head MBB coach, Mike Young?

Watching the VT vs UNC game; Tech’s O-Line was equivalent to FSU. Bring pressure early and often, but contain Hooker when scrambling. Have to think we match up pretty well in the secondary after the performance Henderson, Bassey, and Greer had vs State.
 
Think this is an L. Just don't see us finishing with only two losses and we struggle against teams with a lot of athleticism. Also feels like we're due for another letdown game. That is based on my 30+ years as a Wake football fan.

I wonder if the ACC Network will show a replay of that game this week leading up to our game this weekend? It was a classic for sure!
 
VT loses its starting corner, Jermaine Waller, for the first half of this Saturday's game because Waller was called for targeting in the 4th quarter against ND. Waller leads VT in picks and passes broken up.
 
Pattterson was the starter vs N.D. You may be right, though. I could see them starting the better passer vs Wake.
 
Didn't we lose to Tech in 06 when the game was inconsequential leading up to the playoff with Ga Tech? Hope it's different this time because it means a lot more.

we had to beat Maryland the following week to win the division. VT didn't affect that.

Yes - we rested a bunch of players that week knowing the game didn't matter
