Alfred E Newman justt won American Idol

Scotty is a caricature of country music. And he holds the mic like he's playing the flute.

His winning is entirely representative of the judges' inability to say anything bad to anyone but haley (who was far and away the best of the final three).

Top four should have been Pia, casey, james and haley. I watched every episode since hollywood week and didn't even care to watch the final two shows after haley was eliminated. Watching scotty make george bush faces and dance goofily while singing the same fucking song at the same pace in the same register didn't sound appealing to me. Neither did seeing lauren throw away an incredible voice on a miley cyrus song.

Absolutely horrible judging this year ruined the show (which had a TON of talent). Simon would have completely taken scotty apart for his skipping and pelvic thrusts.

Oh, and can we stop pretending j-lo is some sort of angel bestowed upon us? God she's irritating. And her butt is way out of proportion to everything else. She sucks. As does randy "IN IT TO WIN IT" jackson.

Steven tyler is still cool though.
