Buzz's impending retention--"you made your bed"---Congrats

The biggest problem with this logic, is Wellman can't really let Bzz go into the last year of his contract without an extension. Our recruiting wound take another his.

This. The doomsday scenario is Wellman takes once last gamble on Bz and extends him 2 years. Even if Ron has no intention of keeping [Redacted] around that long, Wellman hopes for a miracle to prove one last time he's the smartest man in the room. When he doesn't get it, he retires and sends one last fuck you to the fanbase. The AD is then forced to payoff Bz and cheap out on a new coach. If [Redacted] is retained this year Wake bball is dead. Wellman surrounds himself with yes men who all owe him something so they are afraid to speak up. Hatch and BOT put a modicum of pressure on Wellman but he wins, as he always does. Remember, the AD exists for the glorification of Ron Wellman's ego.

It can't get much worse.

As I expected, it's our fault that Buzz is the worst coach in WFU history and that RW is the worst AD in Division 1 the past five years. Darn, if we just would have kept our mouths shut, both would have been gone by now! Mea Culpa!

So many people are pissed off by this thread because of the likelihood that its true. And if it is true, then Wellman is a spiteful son of a bitch.

This Board is going to be highly enetertaining until RW pulls the trigger. Every passing moment brings more paranoia

A school planning to can its coach does not debate whether to spend big money to enter its team in the CBI.

Of course an ACC with any pride would not consider entering the CBI either
