Country Dan on Dave Glenn Now

Dan says he has no inside info and no indication now. But he doesn't see a case for bringing him back.
 
Dan RIPPING the loss to GT, calls it one of the worst losses in the history of the program.
 
Says Bzzz is miscast. He knows how to coach but can't take a lowly team and lift them to the heights necessary.
 
Wow. He said that if Bz had the 09-10 team, he'd have been able to get them to the NCAAT "as well as or better than" Dino did.

He followed it up with saying that he has no idea what Wellman was thinking hiring Bz, and that Bz doesn't have what it takes.
 
If you can only coach talented teams, but you can't recruit talent (or have been ordered not to recruit talent), you have a problem.

It's awfully insensitive and not productive to attack someone's work like that. I'm sure you don't know how many hours have been put into the story and what kinds of questions were actually asked.

Which is why we have a problem. A big problem. Hopefully that problem is rectified/removed.

It's an enduring problem. We've had a string of coaches who couldn't do more with less and couldn't consistently bring in the talent they needed to win.

In b-ball? Not sure I would say Dino and Skip had a problem with doing more with less, and for the most part they won. Seems like they could bring in better than "less". They just couldn't do more with more when it really counted.
