And DL. Turner, Vilain, Boogie, Ejiofor, Whitlock, Thompson, Pace, Sharpe, Robbins. Kyle Wilbur played DE at Wake was an edge rusher at OLB in the league. There's a fair number of Deacs at LB as well. Masterson, Strnad, Lee, Arnoux, Curry, Tucker, and Kelvin Moses played a bit for the Jets.

Exactly. IMO he miscalculated by choosing ND, with a run-first coach and a less-than-stellar receiving corps. I watched 4 or 5 of their games and I don't think any of their receivers could start at Wake when Sam was here.
He should. He will be excellent whenever he does so.
Not at all, which is why I thought he made the right decision to finish out at Notre Dame for major $$ and at least the the chance to make the CFB playoff. If he had returned to Wake we maybe go 8-4/9-3 and he achieves legendary/lifetime Wake football status, but again can't fault his decision.
