HP's UNC-Cheat Thread - UNC comes out on top, NCAA penalized by UNC

It's the duke approach. Foul so much that they can't blow the whistle every time. It will be so nice when unc bites the dust.

one of my favorite side effects of this whole thing is how now Carolina fans are in solidarity with penn state. They hold them up every 10 posts or so as an example to follow.
 
If anyone had any doubts where the COI is on this thing, those doubts should be dispelled at this point. They are fixin' to throw the book at UNC. Its all over but the cryin'.
 
Time for Clemson to call a meeting of all the ADs less UNC and announce a postseason ban on all Tarheel sports for a couple years.

Them Tigers have long memories.

"The NCAA's new allegations include an extra-benefit charge involving men's basketball and cover a period from the 2002-03 season through the 2010-11 season. The Tar Heels won national championships in 2005 and '09. If the NCAA, through its committee on infractions, concludes that some of the players on that team received extra benefits, they could be deemed ineligible, which could lead to serious charges, including potentially vacating those titles."

UNC President Kay Norton says the violations are serious, but the investigation didn’t find that the university failed to monitor the program.

Guys-- UNC will walk with a mere slap on he wrist. That is the way of the NCAA-- throw the book at a small school, let a big school walk
 
The NCAA will apologize to Royboy and then reimburse UNC for all the money they have spent.
 
When will it all stop?
Will the press get on this story this week?
If USC happens to beat UNC, will Chapel Hill implode?
 
It truly is amazing how long this has stretched without a conclusion.

How many conference or national championships has UNC played in since this investigation started?

One ACCCG in football. One ACCT win and a few runner-ups. One NC runner-up with the possibility of one more tonight. Don't know about women's hoops or other sports.
