Lebron to become free agent

From the Zach Lowe LeBron piece, I thought the Phoenix option was really intriguing. Bledsoe, Dragic, and LeBron would be an absolute terror running Hornacek's up-tempo transition game.

But I really don't think LeBron is going anywhere because of the whole not wanting to be seen as a mercenary thing. Going to Cleveland would be okay in that regard, but I can't see him playing for Dan Gilbert and a franchise that doesn't have their act together.

Phoenix would have enough space to bring in Pau and a mid-level exception. Plus they have several draft picks this year.

MJ should tell LeBron that he could be the next Larry Johnson if he comes to Charlotte.

Which east teams can give Bron a better chance to win than where he is now?

Since LeBron just got a $30 million dollar check from Apple, he can sign a 1 year/$5 million dollar deal with the Heat this year and let them add a bunch of FAs... then have the Heat use his Bird Rights to give him the max next year.

Wade isn't going to opt out. If he does he is an idiot, because Miami will immediately wish him on his way. Bosh is a 50/50 opt out/stay in I think. He is probably being paid right now just about at market value (perhaps slightly overpaid). If he opts out there is a definite risk he could take a paycut, but there will also be opportunities to secure a long term deal.

Only slightly overpaid? He and Wade are wayyyyy overpaid

It's interesting that Tony Parker is the highest paid Spur ranked at #37. People play in SA because that's where they want to be.

Well that, and they want to win championships. It's really more about Duncan willing to take less to better talent around him. It's pretty hard for anyone else in that locker room to go into a negotiation and ask for more than Duncan. A few guys will get that during their prime, sure, but it certainly sets a specific tone.

Come on, it's all about the Spurs. they trade Danny and Tiago for future considerations and some churros. Then lebron plays wsith Tim, Tony, Manu. Kawhi, Fat Boris and Belinelli.
