Yeah, really just all about avoiding Tampa. Winning the division is fine as long as we also win the conference, doubt TBL will be the last wild card.

We can and should beat the Ning, but don't really wanna deal with them in the first round as opposed to the very overmatched alternatives
 
Mike Maniscalco missing from the announcing crew tonight....just turned on, did they say why?

Hope he's alright.

It's weird watching a game with no play-by-play announcer and just two color/analysts. They just ramble the whole time.
 
That sucks...woulda loved to hear his call on that Jarvis OT WINNER!!!!! (Hope his family is doing alright too)

We are playing unreal right now (even though that wasn't a great game...we couldn't get the forecheck going very well) but we keep finding ways to pull out a win. Guentzel and Kuzy were just amazing additions, and I hope and pray we can keep Guentzel after this year, but I have a feeling he's headed back to Crosby's line.

Feeling so good about this team's chances.....which only means the flame out will hurt even more. Going to place a huge bet on our 1st round opponent winning the series whenever it comes time.
 
So as far as fantasy....am I right in assuming that all the guys that were added by teams that were losing coming into today are now going to be locked on those teams for the rest of the playoffs? Or any team that won't be playing in the Championship bracket next week?
 
According to Adam Gold, Guetzel will test free agency. Disappointing, as there was talk of the Canes making the move anticipating signing him pre-FA. He has been good thus far, although he (and several other 'Canes) missed some good scoring chances last night.
 
Absolutely massive game between Detroit and Washington tonight. They're the two primary teams vying for WC2 in the East. Washington was <10% to make the playoffs just a month ago :oops:

Jarvis and Aho remain 🔥 RED HOT 🔥 with 2G and 4A between them...another 2A from Guentzel and Freddie still undefeated since his return with a 24 save shutout...

Since his return he is:

7-0-0, 2 SO, 179 saves on 187 shots, 0.957 SV%, 1.14 GAA, hasn't allowed more than 2 goals in a game.

He is ⚡LIGHTS OUT!!!⚡🤯💡🕯️🚫⚫

Really loving this team right now!
