Official 2023 College Football Thread: Michigan Recognized as National Champions of Cheating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wake very much on the wrong side of this bubble chart.

Wake has really dropped the ball on drinks for the concession stands. I miss being able to get a drink with ice at football games, especially during the Aug and September games. But I guess there is always Deacon Brew.

I agree that it was poor organization and scheduling. The championship is around the same time every year. The WH should have a couple days penciled in during the spring every year for whoever wins. It’s not very difficult.
As far as the team goes, it’s not very difficult either. They aren’t taking all their game day equipment. Just a charter plane to DC for the afternoon. The school athletic dept should begin scheduling something like this days after winning.

Sounds like both parties had trouble scheduling around their respective dockets.

And here I thought the trip to the White House was more about the kids.

Maybe they were hoping for a government shutdown to get a fast food party like Clemson got

I seem to recall that PepsiCo was a big donor when the Benson Center was built-- which is why Pizza Hut got a spot in there and Pepsi was pretty much the only option. I guess that has bubbled over into concessions, etc...

well we do have a big building in our football stadium parking lot with the Pepsi logo on it

The dumb thing about Pepsi and Pizza Hut is that Pepsi couldn't compete with Coke to actually get in to fast food restaurants (because coke tastes way better) so Pepsi formed YUM Brands and just started buying fast food restaurants.

Also Pepsi had some pretty big office space in winston at one point. Football parking was in the pepsi lot.

PepsiCo spun off its restaurant business something like 20 years ago. And its brands include Gatorade and Mountain Dew which absolutely blow Coke out of the water in their respective categories. I don't drink most of this crap but PepsiCo is more than competitive.

I didn't expect when I opened this thread that the two subjects at issue would be Biff's pretend grievances about a White House invite and Coke v. Pepsi. Tells me the season is way too far away.
