Giles also has no lateral quickness anymore. He's straight up murdering his draft stock with each progressive game.
 
Tatum has a really annoying offensive game.
 
Impressed with how hard UL works on defense. This is more than athleticism. It is coaching guys to work hard and be in position and communicate and help. Defense is more about coaching and effort than talent.
 
Defense is very much about long arms and fast twitch muscles. Also, for some reason these higher profile games aren't officiated as bullshitty.
 
i can see a scenario where giles stays one more year
 
louisville playing pretty dumb. tossing up 3s with 20 secs left on the shot clock up by 7 with less than 2 mins left.
 
Giles may become a good player when healthy but he will never be the transcendent player that many were touting last year.

They have outrageous athleticism which allows them to play like that. If you play like they do without the athleticism and depth, the opposition will destroy you.

All the athleticism in the world will not make you a great defender without hard work...not when you are playing talented opposition. And with the effort you must be coached to take proper positions and angles.

The point, Wake has sufficient athleticism to play tough D but the effort and positioning is not there, not enough.
 
Wake gets to welcome Clemson to join them in DFL. Hope Crawf plays as smart & clutch as LP does for Uva his senior yr.

Hard work isn't coaching. It's individual effort by players.
 
Lol, Luke Maye just made like 6 negative plays in like 4 minutes. Impressive.
