The Killing (Season 2)

My boyfriend took me to an Indian casino a few weeks ago and we walked by this super stylish room with a window and there was an Indian lady looking shady doing something and my bf was like "look, just like a scene from the Killing" and I was like, "yeah don't remind me you made me watch 2 seasons of that crap".

Yes it was the shorter aide to the guy running for mayor. If you didn't watch season 2 you missed out on a lot
of lol and wtf.

So the guy who went undercover with the incumbent mayor's campaign? Was it Jamie or something?

I wasted hours of my life watching the first season, that's why I want to know who it ended up being.

Yes him. He put Rosie in the trunk of the campaign car and then her aunt Terry drove it into the lake (didn't know it was Rosie) for her billionaire boyfriend.

Most of us thought it was Jamie after the first episode.

Just finished season 2, just never got around to finishing it after the first few episodes...

Really random conclusion and wasted a lot of time on people who had nothing to do with anything, but that's how these things go....

And definitely agree that shows like this can't survive because you have one murder taking up a whole season and it's hard to keep viewers when everyone knows you're giving false leads every show to fill time....and these guys stretched it to 2 seasons.

Supposedly they are trying to get it picked up on another network, but I doubt that happens....anyway....glad I didn't stay around and finish this live

They'd have to have a REALLY good story for it to even be worth it....and if they are staying with the same cast then it's just going to be too much...having to watch Mireille Enos' horrible acting and furrowing her brow at everything would be torture.

Apparently Veena is quite convincing.

I could maybe give it another shot with a new cast/new city/new murder...but the same cast in the same city doing a different murder?....just not going to be worth it

The two leads are under contract for a 3rd season.

After being fucked at the end of the first season I chose to skip Season 2 but it's nice to know that AMC has this to say about Season 3: Wisely recalling the objections to the end of the first season, the press release says unequivocally that the case "will be resolved over the course of 12 episodes."

The Jeff [Redacted] of TV shows.

It wasn't so awful once you got over the fact they fucked the viewers at the end of Season 1....but still surprised they are bringing it back.

I think it was so awful in Season 1 but you could ignore it with the expected payoff. Without that payoff, all the sucktitude came up to the surface.

The fact that it has come back twice despite obvious fan discontent is why I made the Bz comparison.
