Third party ownership is a massive problem when dealing with clubs from Portugal. Those part owners of players' rights are looking to get paid, so that makes there be less money for the clubs to sell off their assets.
 
Matt Law reporting that Spurs are ready to begin negotiations with Everton over the damaged Ross Barkley. Initial bid at £20m with up to 8m in add-ons.
 
Bargain if it works out. But Barkley seems to lack that "it" factor. Like he doesn't give a shit if he realizes his potential or not. Not as bad as Ravel Morrison, but the player that he reminds me of the most. Immense talent...but doesn't push himself onto games to dominate.

Like Nani. Or Markovic. Somewhere in that realm.
 
Hopefully he gets "Poch Whispered" or some shit. He's got a year or two to learn how to replace Dembele.
 
Talks are continuing between West Ham and Sporting Lisbon over William Carvalho.

A deal is close - but a fee has still yet to be agreed. There's an awareness a deal needs to be done. We're told personal terms at West Ham will not be an issue.
