Trip to Italy

Leave for Italy in 5 days. Got all reservations where we want to go taken care of. Need one more restaurant to hit in Rome. Prefer a locals non tourist type joint away from city center.

Anybody got a favorite that comes to mind?

The tavern – Osteria da Fortunata

they make the pasta in the front of the restaurant by the window. They reserve a table for Grandma, who came in while we were eating and sat down for lunch.

haven't been to Rome since I was in college. and I posted on the CT that I got demotivated to post after getting laid off as it just makes me sad since other trip planning had to get put on hold.

Pulling out of Rome in an hour. Trip report next week. Off top of head remember to pack wash clothes as Italians apparently don’t believe in them.
