Maybe I missed this, but it appears we wore red unis yesterday (based on the journal recap picture)? Is that an alternate kit? Something new?
 
This season at Spry, are there any changes in the setup behind the goal on the Polo Rd side? Lawn chairs and coolers allowed?

Every season we play a match in pink jerseys in honor of former trainer Steve Wiley's wife Genna who died of Breast Cancer a week after we won the national championship in 2007. The jerseys are then auctioned off to the public and the proceeds go to Komen for the Cure. This season was the 8th annual game, and the jerseys for some reason looked a deeper red than pink.
 
Big games for the Deacs this week. Go to #11 Akron tonight and then #14 Clemson comes to town Saturday night. Get out to Spry that night
 
Akron has some good wins against Maryland and SLU. They got mollywhopped by ODU, but otherwise have played pretty well. Should be a really good test for the team tonight.
 
Akron's good. Najem is very strong and agile on the ball, and their striker Laryea is incredibly quick. They don't do anything fancy on defense, and we started to have success when we finally utilized the wings in the second half. Good team, but you guys can beat them if you play well.
 
Final 2-1. Big time win going on the road to such a high ranked team and winning.
