This blatant corruption is completely out in the open with the complicit acceptance of Trey Gowdy, Paul Ryan, Richard Burr, and Mitch McConnell as well as Chris Wray and Rod Rosenstein.
 
 
I love how rubes gave us this self-fulfilling prophecy of "THE GOVERNMENT IS SO CORRUPT!" so they go and elect Donald Trump just to say "He's just doing what people in government have always done!" with no proof of said government officials doing said things without repercussions.

Kind of in line with some of his cabinet picks. Don't like Betsy Devos? It's the dems fault for having a Department of Education. To paraphrase Gandhi, "Be the incompetence/corruption you want everyone else to see in government".

Why is that Uh oh? If they have to ask Assange in September to try and locate the emails, they obviously didn't collude with the Russians to get them hacked in the first place. No Collusion.
 
If you have to ask your bank for money, you obviously didn’t earn it in the first place.

I would not be shocked if one of the main reason Trump is scared to death about Cohen turning on him is that the $1.6M payment Cohen made for a woman to get an abortion was actually to pay off a Trump chick not an Eric Broidy chick.

If Cohen says it really was Trump, his evangelicals might find it a bridge too far.

Anyone liking/defending Trump at this point (and for quite some time) is hopelessly blinded by ignorance, stupidity, or paranoia to ever hope for awakening.

I agree here. No way it turns everyone against Trump but it may turn another 5-10% on the margins.

All of a sudden you're dealing with a president in the 30% approval rating range with a lot less enthusiasm.

That starts to make a lot of his bullshit unpalatable - even to the corrupt GOP assholes in Congress.
