First Charges Filed in Mueller Investigation

We know that Russia tried to meddle in our election, apparently to help Trump (maybe only to hurt Hillary). We know that the Trump campaign eager to work with them. That seems like a story. Really, what are the chances they didn't get together given that both sides wanted to?

You can't make the best shit up.

"Rudy Giuliani said Thursday that President Trump is more likely to move forward with talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un than he is to sit for an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller.

“I think it is more inevitable than a Mueller interview,” Giuliani, a member of Trump's legal team, told The Washington Post. “At least they’re not going to try to trap him into Korean perjury.”

It was like $100k spent on facebook ads. It had as much effect as if RJKarl tried to interfere in the Russian election.

After that it's been 2 years of nonsense of trapping otherwise rational supposedly fellow graduates from my top 25 university thinking that meddling was important.

It didn’t have to have much of an effect. All it had to do with sway a few votes or sway a few people not to vote in the right places.

And that’s just one component anyway.

Well, it was certainly more than just some Facebook ads. That was not their only modality.

Apparently, the dems now want you to believe that the even the Russians spend money much more effectively than the dems themselves do. Message: dems are grandiosely wasteful, Russians are amazingly effective. That's a solid platform for dems to campaign on.

hahahahaha.....I guess you have not been paying attention to the spending by the current administration

whoops, sorry, forgot you've spent the past 2 years obsessing over a non-story. I'll stop dropping logic which might upset your addiction. There's been significant advances in porn recently, might I suggest a more rewarding obsession?

Go watch some porn? Solid burn you 13 year old.

I dread the day when Dems will inevitably begin saying "But Trump did X and you supported him!" the same way Pubs reference Hillary, no matter how incorrect the comparisons will be.

I agree here. No way it turns everyone against Trump but it may turn another 5-10% on the margins.

All of a sudden you're dealing with a president in the 30% approval rating range with a lot less enthusiasm.

That starts to make a lot of his bullshit unpalatable - even to the corrupt GOP assholes in Congress.

I gotta disagree with you here. I don't think Trump loses any evangelical support if he paid for a woman he got pregnant to get an abortion. He'd at 1st deny it and then say that was then, and now he's against abortion. Hell, you could show video footage of him performing an abortion, and it wouldn't affect the polls. BTW, his poll numbers are up to an average of 42-43% this week. Not sure if it's because of the great way he's handling North Korea or his ramping up trade war talk with China and Mexico. I don't get it.

This argument is dumb. Every close presidential election is/will be probably swung by $100K in the right place. More money is spent because you never know going in which 100K will be the difference maker.

I dunno, they bet a lot on abortion and gay sex-those are the two things that still reliably cause resignations.

If its such a non-story and there was nothing there, I don't see why the most powerful innocent man in the world doesn't want to speak directly to his accusers and offer some proof of his innocence. It would do nothing but help him, both with closing the story once and for all and also with his presidential agenda. I could see a 15% boost in his approval ratings if he just told the truth about his *cough innocence.

If I was accused of something I didn't do, I'd be screaming from the mountaintops and providing every shred of evidence I could that I didn't do it. I'd talk to every investigative body imaginable, prosecutors, judges, juries, you name it.

So, what's the problem? Just call Russia.

Remind me, sailor. Do you not think any of these Russia connections are true or do you not think they matter?

Forced patriotism in the NFL = great
Foreign nations interfering with our elections = who cares

Pretty consistent !
