Official 2020 NBA Offseason - First Half Season Schedule Out

Nice job by the Spurs to win their third game in a row and sneak into a playoff spot.

Pop - hall of fame coach. Nice quick turnaround with this roster.

LOL.

What can you do about that? He's an elite rebounder, his put back ability is unreal. He's a good ballhandler and passer for his size. And he can step out and drill threes. What can you do?

The Sixers would probably play him at PG because someone in middle school told him he could play it.

The bucket he got on the put-back after the miss is why Zion is ridiculous

Be missed, rebounded, and went back up before Poeltl knew what happened

Kyle Korver has become a very interesting story. He's spoken out a few times. Good for him!

Agree with RJ. It was notable how much slimmer he was at Duke than he is now. He's going to continue to get injured playing at his current weight.

It is unfortunate he was drafted by New Orleans. He'd be better off playing in Veganville somewhere (Portland, and if Seattle gets a franchise). I wouldn't say he's a fat fuck now, but he's fat fuckish.

He couldn't play in Portland unless he lived within a mile of the team facilities. There are way too many tempting food trucks in that area.

It is gotta be better than New Orleans. The roads are paved with butter and cream. At least in Portland, they roads are paved with Organic Coconut Oil. Amiright or amiright?

FWIW, the top 5 NBA rookies in PPG (with at least 25 games played):

Ja Morant 17.5
Kendrick Nunn 16.2
Rj Barrett 14.1
Eric Paschall 14.0
Rui Hachimura 13.9

Rebounds per game:

Rui Hachimura 7.0
Brandon Clarke 5.8
PJ Washington 5.5
RJ Barrett 5.2
Eric Paschall 4.8

Assists per game:

Ja Morant 7.0
Darius Garland 3.6
Kendrick Nunn 3.5
Jordan McLaughllin 3.0
Ky Bowman 2.8

Had to look up Kendrick Nunn's background. He played for Illinois and was kicked out in 2016. Played his senior year at Oakland University. Undrafted played in the G League for the Warriors last year. Nunn is the 2nd leading scorer on the team with 2nd best record in the East. Crazy.

Nah. They're paved with granola bars - made from the finest organic ingredients.

His weight will come down after playing basketball for the rest of the season plus maybe playoffs.

Unless he gets hurt first, which is the concern for an athlete with his girth. Tendons and ligaments aren't as forgiving when you are pushing 300.

Who is more likely to have a better NBA career Zion or Ja? Because of the injury concern, Ja seems like the more likely answer.

Ja is a ridiculously athletic PG. Zion is a next generation Barkley. Ja is more likely to have a great career but you can’t just pass on Zion. He has an incredibly unique set of skills.
