Official 2020-21 NBA Finals - Milwaukee Bucks win the NBA Championship!

Thunder beat the Celtics (minus Tatum and Kemba).

Hornets get the Celtics tonight, both teams on the second game of a back to back, Hornets hung with the full-strength Bucks last night but couldn't land it at the end. This is a big game for the EC standings and tiebreakers after the Hornets blew them out on Sunday, so I assume Kemba and Tatum will play. We really need to get some guys back, Borrego has been holding it together with duct tape. Looks like LaMelo and possibly Monk could potentially be back Saturday, fingers crossed.

Derrick White out for the season with an ankle injury. He had been playing well the last few weeks. Hope this gives Devin Vassell some time to shine.

CP3 is just straight balling the past week. I had no idea that James Jones was the Suns GM.

The NBA has to have more former players in coaching and executive positions than any other league.

Latest NBA Championship odds (from DraftKings):

- Nets 2.4 to 1
- Lakers 3.5 to 1
- Clips 5 to 1
- Jazz 7 to 1
- Bucks 7.5 to 1
- 76ers 12 to 1
- Suns 20 to 1
- Nuggets 35 to 1
- Heat 38 to 1
- Mavs 40 to 1
- Celts 50 to 1
- Blazers 60 to 1
- Hawks and Knicks 100 to 1

The worst seed to win an NBA title is 1995-6 Rockets who won as a 6 seed. The Lakers are currently seeded 5th in the West and are clinging to a 1 game lead over the sixth place Mavs and 2 game lead over the 7th place Blazers. Would be funny if the Lakers drop into the play-in tournament.

The Sixers and Suns seem like solid bets.

Futures have lots of risk because of injuries, but seems like the rare year when there could be a surprise winner. Lakers are mess right now; the Nets are loaded, but injuries will be a concern; the Clippers and Bucks have historically under-performed.

So the Hornets are greater than 100:1? If these Catawbas would get their damn casino and sports book open I'd throw a hundo on that on the chance that LaMelo, Hayward, and Monk get back on the floor.

Huge game on Friday for the Suns, win and they're tied with the Jazz for best record in the league. Then both teams have 9 games left, and both play Portland at Home and @ GSW @OKC. Both Play the spurs twice, but Utah is at home and Suns are away.

Then last 4 for Utah are: TOR, DEN, HOU, @ SAC Last 4 for Suns would be @LAL @CLE @ ATL vs NYK.

Mavs have 11 games left against a very easy schedule of alot of non playoff teams. It's certainly possible we have a 3vs 6 Clippers Lakers first round series, and If the Suns get the 1 seed then they'd have Utah play the winner. Would setup great for a Suns run.

On DK, Hornets are 500 to 1. $100 nets you $50,000 if they win. Would be a sweet take. Then again, their road to the title looks daunting:

They would need to win the play in tournament. Then, win 3 Eastern Conference series as the road team (likely @ Nets, @ Knicks or @ Hawks, @ Bucks or Sixers, and then beat the West Champ.

I'm not sure if any of the teams with major injuries have a chance at a championship at less than full squad except the Nets. Lakers fans should be getting concerned. I know Lebron is Lebron, but they need to avoid falling to #6 or into the play-in where anything could happen.

The Spurs are about to blow a 32 point lead in Boston. Horrible second half collapse.

Very weird. Down 2 like 16 seconds left coming out of a timeout with an alley oop to Lonnie Walker?

Tatum with 60. The Celtics had 143 and no one else scored over 17 (Brown). And it was a consistent 60. 24 at the half, 50 at the end of regulation.

Horrible loss for the Spurs but it doesn't mean much. Big win for the Celtics to make a move for the 5 spot.

Jaylen Brown a cool 5/24

Some wild stat lines in that one

Teague scored his 10,000th point tonight vs. the Bulls. He's the 3rd Deac to do so after Duncan and CP. Collins is well on his way with 3,826 in his 4th season. CP should cross 20,000 before the end of the season. He entered tonight with 19,820. Duncan retired with 26,496.

Aminu has 5,343 and Johnson has 5,342. Ish should cross 5,000 before the end of the season.
