Retired US Soccer / World Cup Thread (RIP)

Josh Sargent scores two minutes into his first professional match for Werder Bremen. Good start.

Aron Johannsson (aka Kevin Bacon Jr) also scored in the 30th minute of Bremen's 45-min friendly against OSC Bremerhaven. 'Murica.

Hopefully Sargent gets loaned out to a Bundesliga 2 team this year. Can't see him breaking into the first team just yet. Especially with Aron also there.

Cool Pulisic video/story on ussoccer.com as part of their "Rising" stories on young players: https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/20...ces-christian-pulisic-borussia-dortmund-usmnt

Here's the Rising video on Josh Sargent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKuAg3qk5eQ&feature=youtu.be

And one on the best US player in the Bundesliga last year, Weston McKennie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28bqnz1Gfj4

U-20 camp roster has been named ahead of WC qualifying. Some notable omissions. Did not realize all 34 nations will compete in the tourney that will see four teams qualify for the WC. https://sbisoccer.com/2018/07/u-s-u-20-mens-national-team-kicks-off-camp-with-wcq-looming
