Maples and live oaks are boring??

Granted, birch and some of the sweetest trees have falling leaves.

But I like conifers. They look awesome in the snow.

No, not my student. I mean, I care. But, she is an A student and I read her last test -- smarter than me. sort of. She writes in cursive.

God. I drank everything last night. beer, mead, wine, whisky, popcorn flavored vodka, tequila. I can't even remember it all.

For the White Elephant, I gave "a taste of Winston-Salem". It was a sweet Wake chip and dip-serving dish and a bottle of Texas Pete. The original plan was to include some Camels, a Krispy Kreme doughnut, and some whitey-tighteys, but time and budget were short.
 
Also, Christmas Jam is sweet. I've only been once, and it was years and years and years ago.

It's up there with:

1) Having to get up at 4:30 am in near-zero degree weather to snowblow the driveway so my wife can get to school.
2) The three weeks in March when the snow pack is melting and
a) The runoff keeps the streets constantly wet so that they either,
i) Freeze every cold night and the roads are all black ice in the morning, or
ii) You go through an entire jug of washer fluid to keep the spray off your windshield
b) All of our dirt roads (there are a ton of them, even in the suburbs) are nearly impassable with foot-deep mud.
 
NYC or Long Island?

I know TownieGF wants me to come up 21-22, and then we drive to Philly for Xmas. That was the plan anyway. We may head to Philly Friday instead. And you all should DEF do Hershey on the way home. ILDeac will be here.

We'll be staying on the island but we're fixing to visit NYC more than once during our stay
 
And hearing the CBS college basketball music still makes my boy-parts tingle, even since the...bzdaccident.
