Tunnels' Poster of the Year (nominations thread)

Good point on Sig. The John Edwards statute of limitations hasn't run out on BSD yet.
 
Don't post much, but I read a fair amount - here are my nominees for award consideration:

POY (Left) - Shoo - love the commitment, no wavering, solid (honorable mention: BKF)
POY (Right) - 2&2 - same, great commitment (honorable mentions: jhmd, Go)
Sarcasm POY (Centrist) - Wrangor
Poster who did the most with the least - gotta be kEePer, prior to SpideyHole he could troll like no one else
Cage Match award #1 - Wrangor/Shoo - yeah, I'd pay more than a ticket to a Wake Bball game to see this one
Cage match award #2 - DODO and (insert name here)... most likely a tag team between JuneBug/Dodo and BKF/RJ would be good, although 94Deac would be a good sub
Poster I most likely drank beers with at Wake and never knew it - 94Deac (class of '94 FTW)
Worst poster - DODO - man that guy like to talk about jizz and government dick sucking A LOT
Quality poster - 923 - solid posting
Two posters who need their own thread to discuss things - Tuffalo, TR... oh wait, there's that whole monetary thread... scratch this
Underrated posters (IMO) - DeaconSig, WFFaithful, BobStack
Biggest welcher on a bet - ncsportsnut (has RJ ever gotten paid?!?!?)
Favorite gun nut - Elk (side note, I think I happen to know Elk in real life, he is a solid, stand-up guy, although I haven't seen him since a cookout the night before Orange Bowl 2006)
Least favorite gun nut - clearly "jason" - although Brangus arsenal also scares me, but he sounds a little more stable than "jason"
TL/DR poster - Arlington, but I gotta say, when I do read them, they are quality
Poster tags I don't understand - what's the deal with BBD getting slammed in tags?

I am sure I have forgotten some good awards to add... but I am actually one of the few suckers working today, so back to work...

I'm a centrist? Since when? Pretty sure I'm an unabashed "liberal." Check every single one of my posts.

I'm just not a democrat, and think both parties are corrupt. I don't form my opinions based on what either party thinks about an issue. If that's "shtick," then you got me. Nice talking with you, though.
 
Never understood the value placed on being a centrist in the context of this here board. We aren't running for office or trying to sell op/ed pieces, we're anonymously discussing politics.
 
rj is clearly the best. nobody exemplifies the fucking stupidity of partisan politics better than him.

jh deserves consideration for his benghazi obsession.
 
It's RJ's year after years of being nominated and never winning. He's the Susan Lucci of the boards.

The reason this year is different is because RJ has somehow managed to become one of the least annoying posters on the board, and that is saying a lot. He is rarely rational, yet everybody has slowly gravitated to an RJ degree of annoyingness over the years, and it was punctuated with the campaign season this year. It is The Year Of The Rick. It cannot be stopped. Fuck, he should've been Time's POY this year.

bake, i'll give you a lot of credit. you have been beating the drum of the right describing the lower class like they are all lazy, mooching, free loaders and i've become very aware of people using that type of language. you have been spot on, imo. the 47% comments from romney perfectly encapsulated it.

Republicans have really fallen to the stereotypes over the last few months. They're holding up fiscal cliff negotiations because of the top 1.5%. They're holding up gun reform based on only the deadliest of weapons.

It's a characterization they absolutely must perpetuate to keep their followers believing in supply-side economics and the systematic dismantling of American labor.
