Sugar Bowl

Lots of dirty play from fla defense. Uncalled facemask and thought the cb got away with a pretty good shove on that throw to the endzone.

That was one of the dirtiest played games, college or pro I have ever seen. The refs just turned a blind eye towards it. Hell, the one ref go into it with Bostic and did not even flag him for his behavior. I hate florida and muschamp that much more now.

One nice story out of Florida on Yahoo today. Darrin Kitchens - a junior linebacker who didn't even play last night - stayed behind after their embarrassing loss and sang the alma mater with the band. The only player to stay behind.

He's also one of the only married players on the team, marrying his high school girlfriend last summer. Pretty classy guy.

^^^Incredible and classy. Someone needs to take care of that kid when he graduates.

Florida was definitely one of the worst 1-loss teams I've ever seen. My Gator friends admit they aren't fun to watch.

I hate the Gators but Kitchens just earned my respect.

Georgia got robbed by playing in the SEC championship game.

Meh. Georgia hadn't really beaten anyone, besides Florida, all year long, and had that 35-7 schellacking by South Carolina on their resume. Don't think they belong in the natty without a win over 'Bama

Yeah, UGA actually got lucky they had the chance to play into the natty. After Oregon lost to Stanford, it being a close game against a team ranked higher than South Carolina, they had no chance at making it the natty.

Yeah, I honestly think Oregon was the best team in the country this year when healthy. Injuries killed them.

I wasn't saying the natty, but they should have been in the Sugar Bowl over Florida.

I don't know, it would've been interesting to see how they did against Bama's defense. Stanford held Oregon to 14 points and Bama's defense is just as physical and probably has better speed. That high speed offense is great when it's scoring on nearly every possession, however if they're playing a team that can stop them that high speed offense keeps putting the defense on the field with very little rest. I will say, that is the match-up I would've liked to see the most though.

Oregon put up 400 yards of O on Stanford, just didn't break their typical big plays and got killed by missed opportunities.

They could've played for three straight titles if Kelly had found a reliable kicker. Two 40 yard misses against the Cardinal, and seven times they got to at least midfield but failed to score

Doesn't matter what you think. If Georgia had won, they'd be playing on Monday night.

The PAC-12 is just total garbage. Total fucking garbage. Jesus, did you see how much trouble Stanford had with Wisconsin in their biggest bowl win in 50 years?

I watched Georgia play a pretty average game with tons of mistakes against the best team in the Big Ten and win going away with its second highest point output of the season against a FCS opponent. Then I saw the supposed wizardry of Stanford result in the most boring bowl game of the season against a pedestrian, 4-4, Wisconsin team that lost 10-7 to Oregon State.

And that would be fine. Wasn't sure exactly what Pirate was getting at.

Think they still would've taken playing for a spot in the BCSCG over going to the Sugar Bowl instead of the Capital One. And playing a lower-ranked Louisville instead of Nebraska, as well

This year was just another example that we've always needed a playoff. There's no telling how Oregon or some of these other teams would play in a playoff.

Only if Bama wins. If Notre Dame wins, then the current system worked out as it's supposed to.
