Official 2012-2013 NBA Season postmortem

What? That's a great trade for Charlotte.

Ben Gordon is garbage. Cats have a lack of decent big men and an over abundance of young guards who need more touches. And Humphries is younger than Gordon. And their contracts are essentially identical, so you take on no extra financial burden. Explain why this isn't a good idea.

This. Hump is really a useful player. His rep just sucks because of Kim.

Anyone able to bet anything online? I would wager the house

"The Clippers stayed in Miami overnight after their game Friday night against the Heat. They are expected to fly into New York on Saturday afternoon."

Plus its a 1PM game, or 10AM for west coasters

There's a player option in '13 for Gordon; you're right in a sense. Humphries would dominate for the Cats, though. He'd be a double-double machine. Or you could just keep on trucking with Bismack Biyombo and BJ Mullens ...

Chris Paul doing Chris Paul things this first half. I've only been watching it in the background, but Chris's line of 16/5 and no turnovers is... pretty pretty good.

nailed it

2 minutes left CP scored and Blake just loudly said "CALL TIMEOUT. CALL TIMEOUT" as Woodson called timeout. Melo was not pleased.

LeBron is so much better now that he's not the politically correct robot he used to be. All that media grooming is finally wearing off now that he's the unquestioned best player in the world.

His response about Kobe the other night was pretty good. "Do I buy Kobe the facilitator? No."

And now this:

Brian Windhorst ‏@WindhorstESPN
LeBron: "49 makes in my last 65 (shots)? S---, that's pretty good."

it's becoming difficult to overstate how good lebron is. he's really becoming the GOAT right before our eyes. he has no weaknesses at all and he's elite at nearly every area of the game.

Zomg I'm listening to the Kings announcers tonight. This may be my favorite color announcer in the game. He sounds about 70 years old, and this exact conversation just happened:

[Color Announcer]: Ya know, I was lookin' a blog the other day, and ya know, these people, they have a game they play where if I say a word they have to drink! And that got me thinkin', ya know, that if I said, "[big long sentence with a bunch of catchphrases]", that's like 6 drinks right there!

[Play by Play guy]: .....

[Color Announcer]: So drink up, fellas!

[Play by Play]: You just have too much time on your hands

[Color Announcer]: *giggles*

The Sacramento announcers are pretty bad. Not like, Portland bad. But bad.

Oh, they weren't good in terms of basketball analysis, but that initial conversation when I first tuned in had me rolling.

Worst homer announcers I've listened to were Denver's. Just.... so bad.

YO BMONEY, this could be Haas, but I still can't stop laughing.
